Tropicana made our Tropical Picasso a Hit!

It was a windy day but that didn't stop us from having fun at our Tropicana Tropical Picasso!

The sun shining and the morning was cool but it was still a great to get our Picasso on and enjoy a Tropical Juice Bar courtesy of Tropicana!

We had our Picasso all ready to go for the kids to get messy painting and being creative.  The kids had fun even though the wind made it hard for the paper to stay put!!!  Kids love getting into the paint no matter what so they were happy

We had our juice bar set up and ready to go for the moms and tots to enjoy the Tropicana Tropics Juice.   The kids (and the moms!) made to sure to try all the flavours we had for them.  The kids loved all the juice and couldn't get enough!

It was a hands down decision that we all loved the   Orange, strawberry, Banana  and the          Orange, Peach, Mango

Thanks to Tropicana all of our moms went home with coupons to get more of the the Tropics at home!

Picasso in the Park! Summer is here!

It was an absolutely gorgeous day in Barrie today and the perfect day for Picasso in the Park!

I love the creative and free nature of this event and the fact that all the kids can take part no matter how old they are!

We met at one of our favorite parks, Tyndale Park, and found  a great spot under the shade of the trees.
I decided with the painting we didn't need tables as the kids were better off on the grass painting away!

They had a blast creating their masterpieces!

And one little munchkin had a blast painting herself!!

Summer is going to be a blast with our momstown mamas!

Ducks in the Pond

Blue feet, a pond and some yellow ducks made for an awesome morning of fun with our momstown Picasso's today!!

Our little ones get so excited about paint and again we used our feet to create some art! This time we took our abstract foot paintings and turned them into something more!

This month our theme is In The Pond! A fun theme for the summer and for the kids as we all love nature. To kick off the month we needed to create our own pond.

So the kids got down to business painting their ponds with thier feet! They were giggling and they squished the paint around and slip slided on the paper as they created their ponds.

One they were done we had to take a picture of some of our blue footed Picasso's! Thank goodness for the Huggies Swipe and Clean wipes!!!

We let our ponds dry for a bit before gluing on some bright yellow ducks. The kids had lots of fun doing this and were so proud of their duck ponds.

Of course being at the park on a warm summer morning always leads to some fun at the playground. While the mamas enjoyed the time to have a chit chat and welcome some new members the kids had a blast playing together.

Body Painting Fun!!

Once again our Picasson in the Park was a success! The kids always have so much fun and so do the moms!!!

Being creative and having the freedom to do what they want with the materials they are given makes the kids so happy!

momstown mamas know the value of letting kids be kids and letting them get a little messy!

Our picasso was all about body painting! I thought it would be great to celebrate our month's circus theme with a little face and body painting!

I made some homemade face paint, super easy and super cheap!!

All you have to do is take 1 tablespoon of baby lotion or cold cream and 1 tablespoon of cornstarch and mix well, add a teaspoon of water and a few drop of food colouring and VOILA! facepainting that is safe for the kids! No staining, easy to use and easy to clean up!

The kids were so amazed with being able to take "paint" and create on their own bodies.

One of our newest little ones loved getting into the paint and experimented with all the colours. She made sure to paint herself, and even got her mama involved!!!

This was such a great way for the kids to have fun, and so easy to clean up thanks to our Huggies Simply Clean Wipes!

Picasso in the Park!

Today we held our first Picasso in the Park of the season!

It's been quite hot lately, but today was cool and breezy but very sunny!! The kids were so excited to get painting we could barely get the tables ready for them to start their morning of artsy fun!

The older kids were right into the paint creating pictures and making hand prints. They were so excited to have the freedom to paint outside in the park that they were focused and having fun and were quite quiet for our group!

Even our littles Picasso today got in on the fun!! He was so interested in putting his hands in the paint... and in his mouth! Mom did a great job of trying to keep his little blue hands out of his mouth!

Some of the kids took a different root to their art. Instead of creating a picture, or making hand prints, one of our little Picassos covered her entire page red. I think we may just have a genius on our hands! Didn't Picasso have a BLUE period? Well our little artist had a RED one today!

Thank goodness for our Huggies Wipes!!! The kids were covered in paint, but it was so worth it!!! A swipe of a Huggies wipe and they were good to go!

Join us all through the summer as we enjoy Picasso in the Park and so many more fun and exciting events just for moms and tots!
