momstown mamas make some Christmas Ornaments

We usually do crafts with our kids, but moms love to get crafty too. And don't let the thought that the grownups crafting is any neater than the kids get you, things were quite sparkly after this one!

We had a great group of moms get together to make some ornaments for the holidays.

Tisha from Uppercase Living came in and showed us how to make some very neat ornaments and with some fun holiday sayings.

We took some clear glass and plastic bulbs and removed the tops.  We then poured in a bit of Mop and Glo floor wax that acted as the glue for the glitter we would be using.

Once we coated the inside of the bulbs, we emptied out the excess.  This seemingly easy processed made a bit of a mess, lots of dripped and spilled floor wax was happening.  So we aren't as crafty as we thought!

Once that process was over, and it was a process, we filled the balls with fine glitter and shook it around to coat the inside.  This was much more messy than the floor wax.

While we were making a mess, and I will probably find glitter in my house until next Christmas, we made some pretty darn good looking ornaments!!!

With the pretty saying from Uppercase Living that were super easy to apply, the bulbs looking perfect!

Mess and all, it was a fun night with the ladies... what will the next craft be?  And who is brave enough to host us not-so-crafty-but-very-messy moms???
