Our book this month from Scholastic Canada was called Goodnight Canada.
This was a simple book to read but so educational/ Each page gave us a chance to learn a bit about each province through some gorgeous illustrations.
As we said good night to each of our beautiful provinces, we searched the illustrations for things that related to the specific province.
The official Provincial flags, animals, housing, industry, it was all there to learn about.
We saw Igloos for Nunavut, Wheat for Saskatchewan, Buffalo for Alberta, light houses for PEI and so on.
It was a great way for the kids to learn about our great Country.
Our little winner was so pleased. Not only did she love the book, she was also the one that most interested in what we found on each page. Such a great book for her to win!
