This month we mad our 2nd annual trip to Georgian Downs to have dinner and watch the horse races.
We had a great group of moms come out for the fun!!
The buffet at Georgian Downs is fabulous! the fresh pasta bar is my favorite but all the other foods is fantastic too... especially the dessert table with the chocolate fountain!
After stuffing ourselves silly, it was time to buckly down and choose some horses to bet on!!! This is always fun, as we all have no idea what we are doing!
The laughter and chatter was all the proof we needed to know the night was a success!
As the races started we got a little loud, but I don't think too many people minded, at least we don't think!
Betting on the horses was fun, most of went by names as reading all the stats is a little intimidating and we had no clue what anything meant.... maybe we should take a course or read a book for next year!
We cheered on the horses, booed our competitors and celebrated our little wins... even the ones that didn't help us to break even.
No matter how many races we lost, we still had a ball.
But with the end of the racing, our night carried on over to the slots... we indulged in our slot machine betting with our $5 vouchers... let us find out how far that five could go!!
While most of us just had some giggles and fun with the fast loss of them money, one our mamas did great and walked away with $250!!!
The night was super fun and a huge success! I can't wait until the next one!
